Wednesday December 13th from 7:00PM to 9:00PM at Azuma Sushi (615 Yates Street) Standing room only last year, so please RSVP quickly! RSVP with Tia at 250.361.7388 or tia@tonyjoeandassociates.com 2nd Annual Halloween Friend & Client Event Sunday October 29, 2006 It rained and hailed in the morning but the skies cleared in the afternoon for our 2nd Annual Halloween Friend & Client Event held once again at Galey Farms.  Nearly 4 times as many guests attended this year compared to 2005 where they had a ride on the new train, walked the corn maze and enjoyed an indoor barbeque manned by Tonys Rotary Club, the Rotary Club of Royal Oak Centennial, who served almost 300 hot dogs and hamburgers in just an hour and a half. Although donations were not formally collected at this event, guests gave generously to the Rotary Club where funds are always put to good use.  Based on feedback from guests this year we have decided to formally fundraise for the 2007 event. Thank you all for attending and mark your calendars for our Annual Christmas Event on December 13, 2006. "Cars" Saturday, June 10 2006. --to save any of the images below, right click over the picture and "Save Picture As"-- Our third annual "Movie Morning" was another overwhelming success!  Having moved from our wonderfully quaint venue in Sidney to Empire Theatres (formerly Capital 6) downtown, attendance doubled this year! As always, donations were raised for the Children's Miracle Network (www.cmn.org), a network of hospitals serving children in need.  With the added attendees this year, over $1100 was raised (the tally has not yet been finalized). We are committed to continuing this tradition and will hold private viewings of the latest Pixar or Disney film in May or June of each year- keep visiting this site for latest news and updates or just call or email us anytime to inquire. It's always a pleasure for us to see friends, family and past clients from recent or distant past and this event is by far our favorite- hopefully yours too! Christmas 6th Annual Friend, Family and Client Event Thursday December 15, 2005 What an amazing evening.  A countless number of friends and clients joined us at newly expanded and renovated Azuma Sushi where proprietor Allan had prepared tables of sushi and other fine foods buffet-style.  The coat racks were filled to capacity and the room quickly became standing room only.  We are so fortunate that for the past 3 years Azuma has closed their restaurant for our growing Annual Event. Draws were held for prizes that were donated by friends and clients including The Black Stilt coffee house, Express Systems, Lemongrass Restaurant, Annabelle's Birdhouses, Dan Conway, Studio 1284 Hair Salon, Nicholas Randall, A & B Sound and more. The Grand Prize for the 2005 Cruise for Two (organized by Heather Frost at Blaney's Travel) was won by Beryl and Murray Browne. Guests brought toys and monetary donations for CFAX Santa's Anonymous.  We were overwhelmed by the amount of toys- all of which filled our truck!  Monetary donations totaling $400 were passed onto this worthy cause along with the truckload of toys. Although at this Event we did not raise funds for The Children's Miracle Network, Tony Joe & Associates' charity of choice, a $200 cheque was sent to the Network by us on behalf of all our friends and clients.  In total, Tony Joe & Associates raised over $3500 in 2005 for the Network. The night was a huge success and we look forward to the 2006 Event which will be held again at Azuma Sushi on Wednesday December 13, 2006. We thank all our friends, family and clients for their continued support and we are honoured to be your Real Estate professionals of choice.   Halloween "Spooktacular" Friends, Family and Client event October 23, 2005 The rain stayed away on this particular Sunday afternoon, where over 60 parents and costumed trick-or-treaters gathered at the Galey Farms Cornmaze.  Guests enjoyed the petting farm and corn maze and visited the scale Egyptian Sphinx and pyramid along with the spooky Halloween exhibits and decorated cemetery!  Saanich Police Constable Chris Horsley graciously gave us time in his day to discuss Halloween safety which was of interest to both little ones and parents. Admission was by donation to the Children's Miracle Network. Thanks to the kindness and generosity of all attendees, nearly $200 was raised for CMN, an alliance of premier hospitals in North America which treats over 17 million children each year for every disease and injury imaginable. See photo's from our latest client appreciation event!   Madagascar Friends, Family and Client event May 28, 2005 On a beautifully sunny Saturday morning, our private screening of Madagascar was held at the Star Cinema in Sidney over 2 showings.  Over 130 people attended this function, which also raised funds for the Children's Miracle Network.
